A Day in the Life of Taylor Madison Street: Now with 100% more references to The L Word!

My day has been oozing with references to The L Word today, and I’m not even the one who has been mentioning the show most of the time today. It seems like everywhere I go today, I keep coming across something that mentions The L Word in some way. I watched the first episode of Supernatural earlier today, which Sarah Shahi guest-starred in. After I watched the episode the first time, I watched the pilot again with the commentary on and the producers talked about how one of them was a big fan of The L Word and Sarah Shahi’s acting on the show. I absolutely love The L Word, but personally both Sarah Shahi and her character on the show, Carmen, have always been two of my least favorite things about the show.

I’ve also been thinking a lot about how excited I am to watch tonight’s episode of Empire, and Ilene Chaiken, who was one of the creators and the executive producer of The L Word, is now the executive producer/showrunner for Empire. I just read a few minutes ago on TVLine that Rose Rollins, who played Tasha on The L Word has just been cast in the pilot for a potential new show on ABC called The Catch created by Shonda Rhimes.

To top that off, it was announced yesterday that they will be doing a re-release of the complete series DVD set of The L Word. Like I said, I absolutely love The L Word. I just think it’s really weird that I’ve come across so many references to the show in the past two days. Life can be so weird sometimes.

Fan fiction based on Supernatural is WAY better than the Fifty Shades trilogy

I started watching Supernatural about two or three months ago, and during that time I’ve also read a lot of fan fiction based on the show. That being said, since it’s a rather well known fact that the Fifty Shades trilogy started out as a work of Twilight fan fiction, I just want to say that I think the writing for even the most mediocre works of fan fiction based on Supernatural that I’ve read is significantly better than the Fifty Shades trilogy, which is a book series that was professionally published. That’s just sad.

Power Rangers emPOWER: Saban Brands and Make-A-Wish (Video)

As a huge fan of Power Rangers fan, I have to say that I absolutely love this video. I had no idea that the Make-A-Wish foundation had had such a long history with the Power Rangers franchise. As far as I’m concerned, a person would have to be a robot to not think that this video was incredibly sweet and touching. :)

The movie Man of Steel

I’m watching the movie Man of Steel for the first time ever right now. I’m about 50 minutes into the movie, and I’m having a really hard time getting into it. I feel like it’s moving WAY too slow for my taste. I really hope the pacing of the movie picks up and that the movie as a whole gets better soon.

It’s Time For a Moment of Honesty

I’ve been debating whether or not I wanted to talk about this for the past several months, but since the main reason I decided to start this particular blog in the first place was to work on opening up to other people more and to also work on not being so emotionally guarded with others, I’ve ultimately decided to talk about it.

Over the past several months, I’ve come to realize that I have a bit of a pregnancy fetish. I want to be perfectly clear that I don’t have a birth fetish. I only have a pregnancy fetish. Honestly, I find that fetish rather bizarre and gross, but I try to not be too judgmental of people who do have that particular fetish. However, I’m definitely sexually attracted to pregnant women. This is an aspect of myself that I’m still in the process trying to make sense of and understand.

Finally, I know that me talking about this may scare off some of my readers, but as I said at the beginning of this post, I wanted to talk about this because I’ve been trying to work on opening up to people. To anybody who might have a problem with me talking about this particular aspect of myself, I ask that you, please, be respectful and try to not judge me too harshly for talking about this on here. I always try my best to not be too judgmental of others, even when I might not understand their actions or where they are coming from, and I truly believe that the world would be a much better place if everybody also tried to live their lives that way.
